You are offerding on aFrench Porcelain Mantel Clock by Vincent & Company The Case By H. Boulanger & Company 1890\'s.This is a circa 1890 to 1910 French porcelain mantel clock made by Vincent and Company of France with an earthenware case made by H. Boulanger and Company of France for the Rhode Island retail store of Wood, Bicknall and Potter. The clock I am guessing is circa 1890\'s and no older than 1888 as all the partners were added to the retail store by 1888.The 1855 on the movement is a notation (not the date of the clock) that the clockmaker earned the Gold Medal at the Exposition in 1855 for their clock movements.It is in working condition and chimes on the hour. It does come with a key. The dial is in good condition with 2 very minor hairline cracks between the 11 and 12 hour on the face. These hairlines are only visible when you use amagnifying glass and I show them in picture number 8. The case is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The overallcondition of this clockconsidering it age is exceptional. The clock measures 12 inches tall, 9 inches wide and 4 inches deep. The dial measures 3 3/4 inches in diameter.
