Studio real photo of four affectionate young women reading a copy of Photographic Recorder, published in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The art nouveau ad on the back of the magazine is for Artura photo paper. Two of the women are snuggled closely together on a wide chair, with a blanket wrapped around them both. The four women have arranged their arms so that they form a sort of circle uniting the group. Handwriting on the back gives the location as Durand, Wisconsin.
