Forged metal wall sconce antique British English Oxford tole crest shield #2 For Sale

Hand forged, heavy metal wall sconce featuring a British theme. This is one of a collection of 5 of these custom sconces that were made for a customer but never used. You are offerding on ONE of this group of five. Each one of these displays a toleware shield with hand painted decoration. Each shied portrays one of the Oxford University college armorial coat of arms.

These are quite heavy, each one weighing around 5 lbs. Measures around 12 inches long, 11 inches wide, and a bit over 2 inches deep.
Condition:19th century painted toleware shield has age related scratches, dents, scrapes, paint loss. Please see close-up pictures and ask for more, if needed. The rest of the piece is in excellent condition. Wiring is brand new and ready to connect.
