Fine Victorian Gone w/ The Wind Lamp - Autumn Leaves & Currants - 27in. GWW For Sale

We are very pleased to offer this very fine AUTHENTIC VICTORIAN EAR GONE WITH THE WIND LAMP....... This lamp is of very large size and ranks as one of the best we have been able to acquire for quite some time. This one is 27 1/2in. to the top of the original chimney. Themetal base of lamp is signed by \"F.G. Co. - 338\"The cast metal surrounding the base is beautifully molded in a flowing floral pattern . The four feet are cast metal and feature aCHERUB HEAD,amidst ornate scrollwork,on each foot. The hand painting is of AUTUMN LEAVES AND CURRANTS(at least I think they are currants). Both the shade and base are of milk glass, as expected. The diameter of the BALL SHADE IS 11in.!!!!!! The glass base features a 16 sided panel design that is rather unusual. As you can see the lamp has been electrified, and features a 3 way lighting system, so that the base and top can be lit separately, as well as at same time.There are a couple of \"in the making\" paint skips on the shade(see pics). The oil font was removed at time it was electrified. This is a real beaity of a GWW lamp......direct from a private home(I acquired it today).......don\'t let it get away. Thanks for looking.
