Farmhouse Ceramic Pottery Chubby Bird Fat Round Figurine multi-colored Spring For Sale

This chubby round ceramic bird has a glossy, opalescent glaze and an adorable expression. He is 5 in long and 3 in tall and quite round. There is no brand on this item and I do not know the decade it was made. I do know it was kept in a china cabinet out of the sun for a very long time and loved by a lady named Hazel. I acquired this bird and a downsizing sale on a farm in rural northeast Iowa.

The sky blue feathers in the tail and wings really catch the light, and the expression on this lovely bird's face makes you smile.
