This is an extra large 8 x 6 1/2" wide red abalone shell with iridescent color. The shell is light red, almost pink color on the outside, with a spot of iridescent color picking through on the top. The inside is a shiny rainbow of colors. The shell is in a great used condition, with a couple of natural scratches on the outside. It is very large and heavy, weighing about 1 lb 5 oz. It makes an eye-catching display and would be a beautiful addition to any shell collection, or a start of a new one.
