Cut Glass Engraved Beer Stein Tankard with Metal Framed Lid & ThumbKreuzbrunn i Marienbadc1820

Presented is a fine quality Cut & Engraved Glass Beer Stein or Tankard This beautiful stein has a Cut diamond shape lid with 6 facets in a pewter or metal frame connected to a thumb that wraps around the top of the handle. The stein has a great engraved dedication of what I believe to be R.P. on the lid and Kreuzbrunn i Marienbad on the beveled edge side beneath a dramatic and stately building etched carefully and ornately into a cameo frame. I believe this stein was made c1820 and has some scratches mainly on the bottom from table top use and some chips from around the bottom edge. It is a beautiful piece for the collector and is a unique item for the collector.

I have an interesting selection of items listed currently so please look at my other sales.
