Vintage Elvio Becheroni Wooden Sculpture II Grande Volo 8.75 Inches 1996 Signed. Modernist wood sculpture of Italian painter, sculptor and ceramicist, Elvio Becheroni (1934-2000). Born in Florence, living in Milan he eventually moved to Sao Paulo Brazil in 1978. He used wood from the tree trunks of burned trees in the Amazon to sculpt his creations becoming a staunch advocate for saving the Amazon rain forests. Excellent condition.
