Rare cover proof for the April 1960 issue of THE MAGAZINE OF FANTASY AND SCIENCE FICTION. Cover by ED EMSH illustrating the story \"Crazy Maro\" by Daniel Keyes. Excellent condition. Unfolded. No tape, no tears. Proof is 6 3/4 x 7 5/8 but the art image area is 5 1/2 x 7 5/8.

Early printed proof of the cover before the magazine title and cover text was added, so this is an early pre-publication version of the cover. Blank on the back. On the same stock as the final magazine cover was. Not one of a kind but few of these were made for editorial purposes and fewer now remain.
