Early Antique French Clock With Inlay w/Silk thread suspension For Sale

Very clean, early, French black ebonized shelf clock with brass and the other inlaid material.Just picked up from a clock makers estate , very vibrant bright colors, thick beveled glass, appears to have original Hands, Porcelain dial with blue numbers, However there is some damage to the area below the 12 on the dial and right where the hand shaft come through please see pictures, does not look too awful bad I’m sure it could be touched up to look acceptable. I wound the clock up and got it to run it is been running nearly 4 days has a nice Strike on a heavy coiled gong, it is touchy.. but does run well, I’m sure this needs serviced it has been sitting on a shelf for many years. Both springs are good sorry , I do not have a extra key for it , nor could I find one.. I picked it up because I thought it was an especially nice attractive early example, what you see in the pictures is what you get, again it is in running condition however it is very touchy I’m sure if it was serviced correctly it would run with a little more vigor , Clock stands about 12 inches tall approximately 8 inches wide and about 2 1/2 and 3 inches deep at the bottom...thank you for looking!
