Description

Up for sale is the extremely rare vintage 1960\'s Bossons chalkware Geisha...... these were only in production from 1963-1965. The accompanying figure Mikado is also offered on sale if you are looking for the pair.
This example is totally un-restored and sold as is.
She has the following points to notice working from parasol/head down:
Small spots/amounts finish loss to ribs on top of parasol...also what appears to be a very old mend where a flake has been re-attached at inside outer edge of parasol.
Tiny spots finish loss to cheeks and tip of nose
Tiny spots finish loss to knuckle of index finger of her right hand, and finish loss to the outer edge of her left hand little finger and outer wrist.
Small spot finish loss to the centre of her obi sash.
Spots of fnish loss to the outer edge of her left sleeve and another spot on her left elbow.
Small amt finish loss to her right side sleeve fold edges
Finish loss to bottom hem fold of her kimono.
Finish loss to base.
