Here we have an absolutely ELEGANT and RARE Antique FINE PORCELAIN CHINA Footed coffee server(A very nice er wrote and told me that!)or can be used as a Tea Pot too! (Please see below) It has WONDERFUL HAND PAINTED yellow roses and leaves with lavender on a slight yellowish cream background!Here is a note that a wonderful er sent me to let me know what this item really is: \"Just letting you know that this was not meant to be a teapot. It is an urn that would have been used for cool liquids like lemon water.\"It is so ORNATE with all kinds of 3 dimensional scrolling! GORGEOUS handle and ORNATE PEEK-A-BOO HANDLEon the lid which can be turned either way forward or back! GOLD PLATE as well!Teapot with lid measures 11 1/4\" tall, 7 1/4\" handle to spout and 5 1/2\". Foot is 4 1/2\" in diameter and curves GRACEFULLY out at the base.Condition is great with no cracks, breaks or chips.It has an almost invisible red line which I had a terrible time photographing because it is so faint of color but you can see it in the very last photo. Little wear on the base of the foot. Signed only with KW 1708N. Due to the QUALITY of the work I believe this was made in France or Germany. FABULOUScoffee server or tea pot!I HAVE NOT SEEN this shape teapot in 45 years of dealing with antiques!A teapot needs a long skinny spout to cool the hot tea as it’s being poured and also to funnel the hot liquid into very small and dainty cups.The lip on this urn is wide for pouring into goblets.Its very very beautiful and well made!! dwnstrs bk rm
