Doug Sneyd Signed Original Color Xerox Gag Sketch Art Playboy October 2005 For Sale

From the Oct., 2005 issue of Playboy, this original art features the hand-colored Xerox of the pencil sketch which measures approximately 8 1/2 by 11 inches. Part of the artists creative process in creating the final cartoon as it will ultimately appear in the magazine. Also shown (for reference only, it is not included in the listing) is the finished cartoon as it appeared in the issue. Again, please note that this listing is for the hand-colored Xerox copy of the pencils only.

Doug Sneyd began his career incommercial illustration before going freelance to work for a variety of book and magazine publishers. He also illustrated single-panel cartoons for theToronto Star, Canada\'s largest circulation newspaper (cartoons that were eventually syndicated throughout North America). In 1964, he began working for Playboyand hisgag strips have appeared in the magazine ever since. Throughout his career, he has contributed over 500 cartoons in all and became a favorite artist of Playboy readers.
