Measuring approximately 8 1/2 x 11 inches on tracing paper, this original pencil preliminary features the work of acclaimed Playboy artist Doug Sneyd. The finished version of this sketch was published in the January, 1992 issue. In fair condition and also has portions taped to its surface (part of the artists creative process). Please note- this is an actual, hand-drawn piece of art by Sneyd. It is not a copy, print, or pre printed image. It is a one-of-a-kind original. Shown for reference (in the third scan), but not included in the listing, is the cartoon as it ultimately appeared in the issue. Again, though, it is shown for reference only - the listing is for the original art in the second scan only (the first scan shows both the original artwork and the final, finished product).

About Doug Sneyd:

Doug Sneyd began his career incommercial illustration before going freelance to work for a variety of book and magazine publishers. He also illustrated single-panel cartoons for theToronto Star, Canada\'s largest circulation newspaper (cartoons that were eventually syndicated throughout North America). In 1964, he began working for Playboyand hisgag strips have appeared in the magazine ever since. Throughout his career, he has contributed over 500 cartoons in all and became a favorite artist of Playboy readers.
