From Department 56's Alpine Village collection. This entire village was recently discontinued by Department 56 in 2021. Due to the relatively small number of buildings and accessories when compared to the other core villages and due to the short length of time between initial production and retirement during the life of the village, the value of this village's buildings and accessories is predicted to increase significantly. Many pieces have already appreciated greatly in value.

** We recently received almost the entire Christmas in the City, Alpine Village, North Pole, Disney Parks Village series and other Dept 56 villages from a former dealer and serious collector who took great pride in her collection. In order to list as many pieces as quickly as possible, we may just show the box/sleeve in the photos. We absolutely promise that all buildings and accessories list are in perfect, working condition with all separate attachments included. For serious buyers, we are more than happy to take pictures of the individual items prior to shipment at the buyer's direction.

** We use a "ring"lamp to photograph many of our items. We also use a lot of Styrofoam inour shipping process. If any presumed defects are noted in the photos ofany of our pieces, they are likely from the light's reflection or a stray smallflake of Styrofoam that was not noticed during the photo session. The vast majorityof our long-time, serious collectors and former retailers prefer NOT to includethis option in their listings.They feel this lessens the value ofthese very popular collectibles.They attempt to price their listingsclose to the current, fair, market price and prefer not to be contacted severaltimes for each piece they list with us discussing discounts in a ?garage sale?or flea-market type of interaction. Many of our sellers tell us "Ifwe were wiling to accept a lower price, we would have listed it at thatprice".
