Decanter, glass and silverplate, art deco, with ice holder insert For Sale

This elegant pitcher/decanter has an ornate silver plate screw-on top that conceals a watertight plastic insert which can be filled with ice to keep the contents chilled. Unfortunately the photos don\'t show the true color. The head is NOT BRASS as it appears, it is silver plate. The photos showing the silver color are more correct, but they don\'t show the highly polished aspect. The item weighs about 4.5 pounds and stands about 14\" to the top of the finial. It is in very good condition. It looks like it would hold about two cups in the reservoir and on-half cup in the ice holder. There are no significant dings, scratches or chips. It\'s a real conversation piece. One can just make out silver plate, Italy on the bottom of the lid.
