This is a low grade item. It will be complete and readable, but will show significant wear. Allowed defects for this grade include: spine roll, a moderate amount of staining or water damage, writing or other marks on the cover, up to one inch spine splits or other tears, a cover or centerfold that is detached at one staple, discoloration due to oxidation, and a minor piece or pieces missing. An item could be assigned this grade due to either an accumulation of minor/moderate defects or one or two major defects.

First appearance of the Gladiator in There Shall Come a Gladiator!, plot by Stan Lee, script by Lee (pages 1-7) and Dennis O'Neil (pages 8-20), pencils by John Romita Sr., inks by Frank Giacoia; A burly costume store owner decides it is really the clothes that make the man and begins his career as the Gladiator; Foggy gets a Daredevil costume from Melvin who talks the tubby lawyer into setting up a staged super fight to impress Karen; Thinking his fight with Foggy will draw out the real DD, Gladiator goes after him for real and Matt has to take a hand in rescuing his friend; In the night and the fog, everyone assumes it is Foggy as Daredevil that beat the Gladiator back; cameos by Thor, Dr. Strange, Captain America, and Dr. Doom (as costumes in the Gladiator's costume shop). 36 pgs.
