This Curta type 2 mechanical calculator is in near perfect condition. Mechanically it is 100% perfect. The only thing that you could call imperfect about it is very minor scratches on the underside.
The cylindrical case is also mechanically perfect. It does have some wear and tear on the top and bottom.
Free shipping to continental US via standard USPS. Buyer may request other carriers.
Perfect for antique collectors and math nerds. This thing is really cool and impressively intricate and solid.
From Wikipedia:
The Curta is a small mechanical calculator developed by Curt Herzstark. The Curta\'s design is a descendant of Gottfried Leibniz\'s Stepped Reckoner and Charles Thomas\' Arithmometer, accumulating values on cogs, which are added or complemented by a stepped drum mechanism. It has an extremely compact design: a small cylinder that fits in the palm of the hand.
