Crazy Rare 1905/1906 Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority Fraternity Pin Badge For Sale

This is an incredibly early and rare opal Zeta Tau Alpha sorority from Alpha Chapter at Longwood. The pin dates from 1905 or 1906, as Ms. Davidson is listed as an active member in 1906 when the last listed chapter is Kappa at the University of Texas (founded May 7, 1906) and before the next chapter at Southwestern University (Lambda founded May 31, 1906). As further proof of age, the alpha chapter was dormant from after 1906 until 1949. This is the earliest Zeta pin I have come across in 25 years of collecting. Pin is set with beautiful opals.
