Piece has been taken out ofthe box approximatelythree times and is in near mint condition. It has alwaysbeen in a climate controlled and smoke free environment. Note: This piece ispart of the full size, lightedcollection and not the miniature “town hall” collection.
Historic Background: Henry Cary, a contractor finishing work on the College ofWilliam and Mary\'s Wren Building (the legislature\'s temporary home) tookcharge. He raised a two-story H-shaped structure – really two buildingsconnected by an arcade. Each measured 75 feet by 25 feet; their south endsterminated in semicircular apses penetrated by three large round windows.
