Coleman Lantern 242 NL - All Original - Made in USA 11/1933 - (not 200A, 202) For Sale

Coleman model No. 242 NL (no letter) US made, single mantle gasoline pressure lantern. The ventilator came with a threaded insert so that a lamp shade could be attached and converted to a table lamp. The pump on this model does not have the familiar air vent through the pump handle or positive check valve cut-off found on later models. This is a museum quality 91 year old antique with only minor imperfections. There are no dings or dents in the nickel plated brass fount. It\'s also empty with no odors. The vent has only a small amount of paint chipping, primarily around the bail holes. The lettering is faded on the globe but it is the original. This item has not been restored or tested. Please ask questions prior tocommitting tobuy. This priceless antique will be partially disassembled with each piece individually wrapped and shipped in a HD moving box.
