This early Navaho Indian rug/blanket measures approximately 66\" x 54\" and features stepped zig-zag lines, comb elements, and a checkerboard border. Handspun wool.
FAIR condition. There are a few small holes and thin areas. Use the optical zoom feature and check out photo #3. One warp selvage has several areas of warp and weft breaks (photos #7 and #8). The rest of the perimeter has several inches of broken or missing edge cord. Three corner tassels are missing. There are also 3 old repairs which can seen in the photos. This Navajo transitional weaving has been professionally cleaned. Lays/hangs flat. Both sides are pictured inside and outdoors as well.
Lazy lines throughout. c. 1890s. 5\' 6\" x 4\' 6\". This early Navajo weaving can be displayed \"as is\" and does so beautifully. It is ready for placement in your home or office.

Returns are accepted for up to 30 days after receipt of the weaving. The buyer pays the one way cost of USPS Priority shipping and insurance. One exception is that returns are not accepted from international buyers.
