Circa 1897 William Vanderman Rail Road Strong Box / Tool Box Railroad Antique  For Sale

Up for sale I have an antique railroad tool box / strong box circa 1897. It has been painted black on the outside and gold on the inside. It has also had wheels added to the bottom and some brackets on the back. There is NO lock. It is in good condition. It has the Vanderman label on it as seen in the photos. The Vanderman Manufacturing CO. was founded in 1878 by William Vanderman. They mainly produced strong boxes and vices. I have seen these referred to as strong boxes for gold and rail road tool boxes. I found the ad shown in the photos online and it lists it as a tool box. Either way, it is a great antique railroad item.
This item is available for local pickup only. I can meet buyer in the Lexington / Louisville Kentucky area or the Knoxville Tennessee area. I will consider other locations but there would be a fee.
