Chinese Teapot with Lid and 3 Matching Teacups

This is an Edge Malkin teapot with three matching teacups in the Chang design. Made circa 1870s, these pieces areironstonePolychrome Chinoiserieon a cream background. All the pieces are in good shape with no chips, cracks or scratches. One of the teacups has a bit of crazing but only serves to confirm its age. There's a bit of smeared paint in a couple of places but this would appear to be the result of the manufacturing process. The rims of the teacups are also a little faded suggesting they may have been used at some point, but there's no evidence of tea stains in any of the pieces.
