Wonderful antique children's 19th Century (c. 1860 or so) soft porcelain Staffordshire ABC Plate. Bordered in raised alphabet letters with a line or red trim and embossed rope, centers bear a polychrome painted transfer image of a milkmaid holding bucket standing next to a few cows. Measuring 5" wide, plate is Staffordshire Pearlware with blue pooling glaze around the lettered edge.

Condition is lovely with one hairline cracks see photo! Normal age and manufacturing irregularities. Just a charming antique ABC plate - colorful and sweet - lovely addition to any collection or display!
