This listing is for a Vintage Cairns & Brothers Leather Fire Helmet w/ Visor. Helmet shows lots of age, character and would make for a great conversation piece. Inside helmet is marked with which I believe to be a "7" for the size, name R. Costello, 63 which may represent 1963 and NYFD for New York Fire Department. "D" hook located on the back rim for hanging. Embossing in the leather on the brim all the way around. Brass eagle holds the badge in its mouth with Engine 266 and badge number 9225.
