Blue & White Stoneware - CHOICE
You choose from this great group of 10 different blue and white stoneware pieces. Most are in very good condition and some are quite rare. Read carefully the descriptions below and also see the photos for condition details! Items are listed left to right, back row first and then front row. Email if you have questions or want to Make an Offer on more than 1 piece (as shipping is included!)
(Back Row, L to R) - A - Very attractive & stout stoneware pitcher: I believe in a Banded or Diffused Blue pattern. It is about 6 ⅞” tall, 6 ¾” from spout to handle, and has a top diameter of about 4 ¾”. It has no major flaws, but does have a couple of small chips and the start of some crazing & minor hairline cracking on the bottom.
B - Excellent pottery pitcher with a (deer) doe & fawn on each side and a kind of diffused blue patterning. It is about 8 ½” tall, 7 ½” from spout to handle, with a top diameter of about 5 ½”. Overall in quite good condition with a small chip inside top rim & a joining crack where the handle bottom joins.
C - Attractive vintage stoneware pitcher: I believe in Diffused Blue. It is about 8 ½” tall, 7 ½” from spout to handle, and has a top diameter of about 5 ½”. Other than 1 tiny chip on the top inside and the usual maker’s flaws, this pitcher is in very good condition. (What may appear to be a spot is actually my label which I forgot to remove for the photo.)
D - Beautiful antique pottery pitcher featuring grazing cattle w. a nice background pattern, Beaded Medallion I believe. This pitcher is about 8 ⅛” tall, 8” from lip to handle, and has a top diameter of about 5”. Pitcher is in generally good condition w. minor hairline cracks on either side of the spout (the one on the left does not show through at all) and another tiny crack where the handle joins the top.
E - Very attractive & slender stoneware pitcher: I believe in Diffused Blue. It is about 8 ½” tall, 7” from spout to handle, and has a top diameter of about 4 ¾”. Other than a couple of flakes and pinpoints (maker’s flaws), this pitcher is in very good condition. (What may appear to be a spot is actually my label which I forgot to remove for the photo.)
(Front Row, L to R) - F - Grease jar, with very good color. It measures about 3 ¼” tall & 4 ½” in diameter. The pattern is Daisy & Trellis (or waffle). Generally quite good condition w. no cracks but 1 very tiny chip on bottom.
G - Butter Crock in Daisy & Trellis (or Waffle). It is about 3 ¾” tall (4 ½” w. lid) & 6 ¼” in diameter. Overall in good condition with several minor flaws from sloppy manufacturing & 1 small crack on the edge of the lid.
H - Beautiful pitcher! I believe this pattern is called Daisy Cluster and it is hard to find! The pitcher is about 7 ¼” tall, 9” lip to handle, & the top diameter about 5”. Great deep blue. Each side has a cluster of 3 daisies w. leaves, the front & back (by the handle) of the pitcher has nice lattice work & there is a sideways tulip-like design around the neck. It is in very good condition with only the most minor of pinpoints or rough spots!
I - Nice piece in an unusual pattern: I believe this is Daisy & Snowflake. The wall salt is about 4” tall (5 ¾” to top of hanger) & about 5 ⅞” in diameter. Generally in good condition but it shows minor edge wear near the hanger hole, 2 small chips near the top rim, and the cover’s knob has maker’s flaws.
J - Nice bowl, probably from a nest of different sizes. This measures about 7” in diameter and about 4” in height. I believe it is called Diffused Blue. Very nice drip pattern! Other than some bottom wear & spots near the under rim that missed glaze, this is in very good condition. PLEASE check out my many other items!
