Case XX USA, 2000, Super pretty Paua Abalone Pearl CopperLock 81549L SSM, These beautiful Paua Abalone Pearl handles are chip and crack free and the colors have awesome firery sparkle. The blade has great snap and half stops, no wobble. Nickel Silver bolsters, Clam Shield, pins and liners. Never carried, used or sharpened. Absolutely gorgeous and in Mint condition with the original Case XX factory black velvet presentation box with sleeve and info sheet. In 1997 Case introduced an entirely new knife pattern, designed by Case legend the late Tommy Hart (1930 - 1999). The CopperLock (549L) combined elements from classic Case patterns (Trapper and Copperhead) to make an entirely new lock back knife. With a fully locking blade, it has the cutting power of a lock back, with the the look and feel of a traditional Case pocket knife. In 2007 Case celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the CopperLock. In July of 2008, this pattern was retired to the Case Vault for 3 years. In 1998 Case introduced the Mini CopperLock.
