British Pattern 1827 Naval Officer\'s Lions Head Sword and Scabbard. This sword was manufactured by Manton & Co. and so marked by the company\'s trademark on the ricasso, also proved on the reverse by a 5 pointed star with initials in the gold center. Both the handle and guard remain in excellent condition, remains tight to the blade, and handle has all of its original fishskin wrapping and twisted wire intact and original to the sword. The folding guard lock is all intact and functions flawlessly. Blade measures its full 31 1/2 inches of length, and is mostly all factory bright in color. The blade remains in excellent condition.
