Appears to beabout 16 Spears of Brass Inlay and center Brass.No sticker on what it is, but it appears to be Bone as some ofit has aged a little, could be aging, or just the Bone.Oblong, about 8" Long and about 5" Wide and 1.5 to 2" deep.
Pre-owned and I've had it about 25 years. Bought it at an estatesale of lovely things. Could be the "bone" is White wood butI don't think so. Not sure but this sure is a beautiful and unique piece.Hinges work good. I do not have any more information on this.
