This is a wonderful vintage wood manger/nativity set from the 1950\'s.
Two of figures are marked Berkalith/Kunststoff and some of the others have prices like 29 hand written or have nothing written. All the people look to be excellent. 2 animals have tiny chips to ears, the donkey and a lamb.
All in all there are 9 people including the 3 wise men, Jesus Joseph and Mary. There are 6 animals.
The manger measures 16 inches wide 12 1/2 inches tall and 7 inches deep.
The manger is wood and the figures seem to be wooden, I\'m not sure what they used in the 1950\'s, some of the bottom of the figures are very flat and have pencil written numbers, others have a few textured areas please see last pic for a close up.
The bottom of manger has green felt someone added to protect table tops.
It\'s a rare find for this large of a nativity.
For size reference Mary is 3 1/2 inches tall as she is kneeling.
