Beautiful Native Hand Carved Soapstone Bowl - Fish Design For Sale

Beautiful carved soapstone bowl. 8” across and approximately 1.5” tall. This beautiful bowl does not sit flat, but does have some spin and will too easily when touched due to the nature of a craftsman made bowl. Beautiful black on top with Wilbur’s fish carving. The bottom of the bowl however shows a beautiful blue tone to the stone. I so. It have any history or documentation on this bowl and am unsure of age. However from the research I have done I do believe it is a native handmade piece. Due to the soft nature of soapstone there are several scratches throughout. I have tried to take photo’s showing these scratches. Just adds to the character of this beautiful piece. Thank you for looking.
