This just might be a Blue Bird Unicorn...we dated it the best we could back to about 1910 and could find no other online examples of this type of wood stove oven food warmer from Blue Bird. Since Blue Bird vintage and antique cooking items are highly collectable, we are presenting this rare collectable. The warming oven would make a great addition to any cast iron antique cookware collection.
The piece shows great patina including scratches, scuffs, some minor dents and paint loss from decades of moving and storage. The door hardware is remarkably intact as are the internal racks and heat deflector. The glass looks to be recently replaced? This really is an amazing find...the overall condition is GUC good used condition.
