Absolutely gorgeous and exotic handmade fetish piece originally from the Congo. Previously owned by life-long collectors and sellers of African art. It was purchased from the couple's personal collection at their home in New Jersey. The statue itself stands approximately 27" tall and is approximately 11" wide. It is a very sturdy piece. It has a distinct look. It was handmade of wood, material. and feathers. Each nail and metal shard is believed to ward off spirits and relieve pain.
