This item, as well as a lot of our items, comes from estate sales and similar events. We disinfect everything and clean it when we receive it and again as we ship. Some items have been sitting untouched for years until we rediscover them, so we do the best we can while also not destroying it.
Please understand that some packages are left as is because of age, and this set falls into the category.
