Antique White Metal Hand Painted Roaring Lion Inkwell Stand with Glass Insert For Sale

Here is an absolutely gorgeous antique inkwell stand with glass insert depicting a roaring lion in white metal. This inkwell features original brownish yellow paint on the fur of the lion along with white teeth and a deep red for the roaring mouth. The paint shows normal wear and chipping from use and handling. The lion\'s head lifts up to reveal the glass ink insert on the inside of the stand. Please note that this inkwell has a minor manufacturing imperfection on the rear where the metal did not completely fill the mold when it was cast, leaving a small hole.Dimensions: 6\" W x 5\" D x 4.25\" H
