Cards in new condition. About a century old. Scenes in Peking and Manchuria. Tintedcolors. Winner of this sale receives both cards. Very hard to find. Probably qualify as \"rare\" cards. Information about each scene was printed on the message side of the card.
Only very slight age yellowing. Otherwise mint condition. Clean. From a smoke-free environment.
Hundred-year-old picture post cards don\'t get much better than these two.Could be framed and displayed.Probably would qualify as candidates for enlargement.
NOTE: I am a poor photographer. These cards are better than they appear in the picture of them.
These cards were published by Woman\'s World magazine (Chicago) and were probably sold in \"lots\" of several international scenes. Might even have been sent as a bonus to new subscribers?
Card on left in the picture: Card No. 44 - IMPERIAL MAUSOLEUM MUKDEN MANCHURIA
Card onright in the picture: Card No. 43 - ACROSS THE LAKE FROM ISLAND, PEKING, CHINA.
I pack items very carefully and mail to any address in the USA. No mailing to other countries.
