Estate sale find, vintage originalSpringfield, Greene County, Missouri, Antique Cabinet Photo Patterson's Poultry Leghorn Chicken Farm, circa 1910-20s.
The following is from the November 1920 issue of The Poultry Item:
"A model S. C. White Leghorn plant, conducted on the highest plane of scientific endeavor is the PATTERSON LEGHORN FARM, R. 4, Springfield, Mo., which has a capacity of 1000 trapnested hens and where trapnesting, pedigreeing and registering are part of the day's work resulting in great benefit to C. T. Patterson, the owner-proprietor, and his many patrons. It will be remembered that Mr. Patterson was formerly Director of the Missouri State Poultry Experiment Station at Mountain Grove."
