For sale is an original broad, ax head. It is marked Simmons and.Cohoes cast steel warranted. The blade on this axhead is approximately 12 1/2 inches long. It definitely could use some TLC… But it’s still in solid condition. I can find no significant chips or cracks or damage. I don’t know the age of this axhead but I’m guessing this to be from the late 1800s. This was found in an old local barn in Northwest Ohio.
