Large Antique Seth Thomas Adamantine Clock Made Expressly For Chandler Bros Rockford I’ll.

This clock is in excellent condition and currently works kept good time for 24 hours. Please note these clocks do require maintenance and adjustments time to time. I would recommend having a certified horologist service the clock if you intend on constant use. The gong chimes deep and beautifully once on the half hour and again at the top of the hour. At the top of the hour it gongs 1 time for each hour of the day that has currently passed. The marking on the bottom signifies the clock is from 1901 which makes this clock 117 years old! Reading the number backwards shows you the year 1901.
