The vintage B. C. Mook Harness Standard Barometer is in
great condition for its age! This barometer managed to maintain its look over the years. The advertising at the top points to Oil City, Pa. The piece made its way from the original manufacturer C. P. Scott back in Buffalo, N.Y. The piece has a few convenient additions in terms of wording. Examples of that include text on the side at key temps such as freezing temp and other indicators for average summer temperatures. The piece is a bit worn and dirty as shown in the photos but the text on them is still legible. The wood and metal components contribute to the stability and longevity of the piece. Overall the barometer measures about 8.25” x 3.25”
