From my personal collection, a set of antique Pickard China Salt and Pepper Shakers hand painted in the Russian Flowers pattern.
I have looked at these in every light possible and I believe this is the Pickard black mark that was used from only 1918 to 1919.
Each shaker is approximately 3\" tall and the base diameter is approximately 1.5\".
No chips, flakes, cracks or paint loss. There are a few very small marks (see last photo) that are gold paint under the glaze, which means they occurred during the hand painting process. I\'m not sure if the corks are original and I have not tried to remove them.
The background color is white, and not as \"dark\" or \"yellow\" as it may appear in my photos.
I purchased this lovely salt and pepper shaker set from an antiques store in Wisconsin in the mid 1980\'s and displayed them for several years before packing them for storage, where they have been since then. There is a bit of darkness on the rough bottom edges from shelf wear, which is to be expected.
We did it - we downsized! I still have a few items in a variety of categories left from the move so please check my listings for more \"treasures\" from our home that sadly we no longer have room to keep.

I will mail your package within two business days after receiving cleared payment. Shipping time for Priority Mail is around two to three business days but it can take longer, especially during bad weather and holidays, and the USPS has recently announced that First Class mail will be taking longer to arrive than it has previously.
The delivery dates you see in a listing are inserted by and often do not reflect distance, weekends, holidays, weather, other times USPS is not operating, or a seller\'s stated handling time. Also, once a package has been taken to the post office, it is out of my control.
