Antique Miniature Suit of Armor Clamhead Destroyer Frogman Piranha Plant Robot For Sale

This small model suit of armor has affectionately been named “Clamhead.” We don’t know his origin/maker, and no weapons/shields were found that go with him.It always reminded us of some Asimov looking robot, or like the Destroyer from Thor.He appears made of steel. Arms are loosely wired to the chest. Entire piece sits on a prop rod attached to a wooden plinth/base. Boots are tacked to the base. Small tacked on shields adorn the base.Steel has some light aging. Wooden base has wear.Overall height with base is approximately 16”.Have never found any model miniature suit of armor that had a similar helmet. Very intriguing piece!
