Antique Islamic/Arabic Quran Box copper with silver and brass fittings - VERY RARE!
This old Arabic Koran box or case shows traditional Islamic design . The box is handmade from copper and decorated with silver and brass fittings. The box has a front panel coated with finely patterned silver and it external measures: 150x110x37mm/ 5.9x4.3x1.5 inches. The internal dimensions of this box are: 100x80x35mm/3.9x3.1x1.4 inches. The box is hung on a traditional Arabian rope with a length of 160 mm/ 6.3 inches. The box is in good condition for it\'s age and quite heavy - 404 g made in the 19th century.
