Antique Hoover Vacuum Model 541 Special Circa 1923-26 For Sale

Antique Hoover Vacuum Model 541 Special Circa 1923-26, per Bing A.I. Motor runs, beater bar turns after oil and turning by hand still may need a little push or new belt. Looks complete - olive green paint shows wear on side by foot switch. Rubber bumper intact but is loose off metal in spots. There is a dent in switch housing. Cord is bad at top and plug. 3 of the slot screws holding bottom plate would not move, put a little oil on them but will be hard to get out. Handle is wood, with metal grip at top - textured black paint is worn off at top and bottom. Clamp that holds cord to handle on one side end is broke off, where a tightening screw would have gone through - still holds tight. Handle was hard to get off, had to back out attaching screw at bottom and tap on screw to push out handle, may need to sand a little to get back in. Unable to figure out the handle tilt bracket. Will ship in 2 separate boxes.
