Antique Gebruder Heubach BISQUE Bonnet Girl Piano Baby Figurine Original with Early Mark, LARGE 9 inches tall.
Gorgeous Piano Baby, Bonnet Girl figurine made in Germany. Beautifully hand painted bisque, fine porcelain. Dimension approx. 9” tall x 5” x 6” weight is 1 lb 5 oz. This is an authentic and antique Gebruder Heubach. Early stamped mark is incised into base. This is the large version and much more rare than the smaller bonnet girls.
This girl was part of a large and curated doll/figurine collection. She has been displayed carefully and out of direct light. No restoration or repairs have been made to her. There are light signs of wear but in overall wonderful condition for the age. On the back of her dress, she has some lines that appear to be part of manufacturing and are beneath the finish. All of her fingers and ruffles are complete. The hand painting, especially on her face, is exquisite.
In addition to the hallmark, there are numbers visible at the bottom. These numbers are 98 or 86. Three Heubachs are available in my store, including this very large, very hard to find one.
