Thisis a Most RarePair of Antique “Genuine Greist\"Bookends. They are made from bronze orsome other non-ferrous (non-magnetic) metal. My research shows them to be c.1924, which is 100 years old. They feature an incredible art deco female figure in a gold mottled-type finish. She is in a quintessential deco pose.
They each measure approx. 9 3/4”tall x 5 1/4” wide x 3 3/4” deep, and weigh in at approx. 2 1/2 pounds each. The original bottom felt and “Genuine Greist Product” stick is present on one.
These antique bookends would make an awesome addition to any home’s decor or collection, and would make a great gift, too! They would also make interesting & decorative conversation pieces. The pictures above show the condition of the actualbookendsyou will receive, as I don\'t use stock photography.
These antique bookends are in very good condition, but they do show expected wear consistent with age.I have made no attempt to clean or restore them. Please refer to photos for condition.
