Antique Figural Maiden Clock Brass & Cast Iron 1869 Waltham Watch Movement Read For Sale

This listing is for a Antique Figural Maiden Clock Brass & Cast Iron 1869 Waltham Watch Movement Read. I have not been able to find another exactly like it. I am unsure the exact age or maker beyond the movement. Since it is a 1860s movement allegedly made for one year only, I assume the rest of the clock dates to roughly the same period. It features a figural brass maiden with a case of wood, brass, and cast iron with a porcelain face. I have not opened up the movement at all to avoid damage. It is currently semi-working, it winds smoothly but has trouble continuing to tick. At one point I had got it going for a good two to three hours, then made the mistake of moving it to a shelf and it stopped. I am unsure what is causing this issue, but it seems like it would be a relatively simple fix to get it up to fully functional standard. The design is excellent for many rooms and a large variety of styles of decor. It is an excellent piece for collectors, gifting, display / decor, gifting, and more!

It is in good condition, with no major damage. I have not opened it up to avoid damage. The face has some cracks- see photos- but no missing pieces or danger of any falling out. It is missing one foot, one nut to hold the maiden down, and one ornamental tack head- easily replaced. Some minor wear and patina from age as expected. The movement and rest of the casing appear complete.

This clock comes from a massive estate collection, and was extremely well cared for in a temperature controlled room. Please check back this weekend & next week for multiple other antique & unique clocks I will be listing!
