A fine clock by John Mercer II of Hythe (Kent) following his father as a clockmaker in this region. Multiple inlays everywhere, several old repairs not unusual for a 220+ year old clock. The good news is it runs and strikes correctly, no calendar. It never had finials. Old glass, good feet, lots of character. Restored dial.
Measures 92\" x 22\" x 10\".
Pickup here or choose a carrier you will pay directly. U Ship does a good job, I\'ve used them many times. I will separately box the dial/movement, bonnet, weights, and pendulum. The case will be blanket wrapped by the carrier. Use 75# for the total weight.
