I am pleased to offer from my private collection this important historical antique Empire Belle Epoque 14k solid gold jewelled necklace c1880's,with the original luxury presentation box.
This amazing masterpiece has been made for the Cabinet of Empress Maria Feodorovna.
The necklace is decorated with aprox 3ct old Rose Cut Diamonds.
A lot of sparkles-the diamonds sparkles like crazy!
The sparkle of old cut diamonds is deeper and warmer, almost glowing in a way that draws the eye into the stone instead of bouncing the light back out. This makes old cut diamonds star performers in candlelight and other low light settings.
Hallmarked with the Imperial "5 6" standart for 14k gold
and with the master's initials "K Ф" hallmark. Scratched with the inventory number.
It comes with the original luxury presentation box decorated with the personal royal monogram of Empress Maria.
